Abandoned shooting range

When walking through Polish forests, you can sometimes come across abandoned buildings. Sometimes it is worth getting interested in their history and taking a few photos so that they are not forgotten.
This facility is probably a remnant of the old shooting range of The Shooting Brotherhood.
The Shooting Brotherhood in Chodzież was established in 1754 on the initiative of Karol Grudziński of Grudna - the castellan of Gniezno and the then heir of Chodzież.
The Shooting Brotherhood is an organization from medieval Western Europe that taught townspeople how to use weapons in case they needed to defend city walls. The first rooster brotherhoods in Poland were established at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries.
According to data from the Polish Shooting Association, in 2023 there were 1,661 rifle shooting brotherhoods registered in Poland.
